Wellingk, Matthias (1524–1577)

Luultavasti Filip Wellingkin poika ja Gotthard Wellingk I:n veli. Hänet haudattiin Riian tuomiokirkkoon seuraavin hautakirjoituksin:

Hän lepää tässä tuomioon asti,
hän nukkukoon Sinun pyhien kasvojesi edessä,
kolminaisuuden olemuksessa.
Siinä auttakoon meitä Jumala ikuisesti!

Probably the son of Filip Wellingk and the brother of Gotthard Wellingk I. He was buried in the Cathedral of Riga with the following inscription on the grave:

He is lying here until judgment,
let him sleep in Thy holy presence,
the essence of the Trinity.
So help us God in eternity!

Wahrscheinlich der Sohn von Filip Wellingk und der Bruder von Gotthard Wellingk I. Er war in den Rigaer Dom mit folgender Inschrift (auf Plattdeutsch) auf dem Grab beigesetzt:

He leve here, tom gerichte
lath schawen din hl. angesichte,
dat wesend der drevoldichet.
Det help uns godt in ewigheit!
